Mike Estee

Technical Director

Mike likes to make things, take them apart, put them back together, and then write poetry about the left over pieces. After slaving away in the code mines of Silicon Valley for 13 years, he finally escaped to spend all of his time working on art. As an amateur aerialist, photographer, machinist, electrical engineer, fashionista, and industrial designer Mike has found numerous fields to occupy his short attention span.

A fabricator /artist hailing from West Oakland with a broad base of skills and knowledge in metal, mechanical, and electronic forms ranging from robotic performance art, bicycle components and electric vehicles to high end furniture, architectural and trapeze equipment and (almost) anything in between. With a passion for the marriage of design and function and big dreams.

Woodworking extraordinaire with a mind toward design, function, and a primal aesthetic, Paul Holmes is intrigued by the never ending puzzles of set design and construction. The Paper Doll Militia's in-house carpenter, Paul is always down for the next Paper Doll challenge.
